Green Resort Hrubá Borša
The GREEN RESORT golf facility, with 27 holes, is located in the village of Hrubá Borša near Senec, directly within the GREEN RESORT residential and leisure complex.
The golf course was designed by Ing. Martin Munka, who has designed numerous golf courses in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
The main contractor for the construction of the golf course is ORAG Slovakia Ltd., a company with many years of experience in building golf facilities.
The golf club was founded on December 27, 2007, and in 2009 it was accepted as an associate member of the Slovak Golf Association (SKGA). In January 2010, it became a full member of SKGA.
The first significant event in the history of Golf Club Borša took place on June 18–19, 2010, with the official opening of the GREEN RESORT golf facility. Guests included people from the golf community, as well as residents of Hrubá Borša and the general public.
Over the years, the club has undergone various changes. Today, under the name Golf Club Hrubá Borša, it is a full member of SKGA and organizes major national and international events, such as the European Team Championships, European Junior Team Championships, European Club Team Championships, the National Golf League Finals, Slovak Junior and Adult Championships, the SKGA President’s Cup, and many more.
Looking back at its history, one of the first significant events was the opening of the 9-hole championship course (PAR 36) on Saturday, June 29, 2013. The VIP Green Resort Opening Tournament marked the official launch of three new holes added to the existing six holes of the future 18-hole championship course.
The game format chosen was Texas Scramble for pairs, with a single round starting sequentially from 10:00. The ceremonial tee-off was performed by Milan Lasica, who attended with his wife Magda Vášáryová. The couple also formed a playing pair in the tournament. They continued on the course in the same flight with the club president Jozef Munka and Miroslav Marinčák.

Arrival:
Vstup do rezortu sa nachádza na južnom okraji obce Hrubá Borša (smer Jelka) v okrese Senec.
The resort entrance is located on the southern edge of Hrubá Borša (toward Jelka) in the Senec district.
From the D1 Motorway: EXIT SENEC, follow signs for Senec – Kráľová pri Senci – Hrubá Borša.
From the R7 Expressway: EXIT ŠAMORÍN NORTH – turn left toward Senec. After the village of Hrubý Šúr, turn right toward Kostolná pri Dunaji – Hrubá Borša.
